NJC calls for the dismissal of two Judges

NJC recommends two judges for dismissal

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has requested that President Muhammadu Buhari expel two judges blamed for debasement by the counter join office, EFCC.

The affected judges are Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court and James Agbadu-Fishim of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria.

The NJC said it arrived at that conclusion after some allegations on the two judges.

The NJC likewise dismissed the willful retirement of another judge and asked that a lawyer be punished by the appropriate legal body.

the NJC had in the meantime put the two judges on quick suspension pending the affirmation of its suggestions by Buhari.
